World War II (WWII) Veteran. Served from 1942 - 1946 in the Army Air Corp as pilot on B-17 with 35 combat missions flying with the 384th Bombardment Group (H), 8th Air Force from Grafton Underwood, England.
Reserve Officer from 1946 - 1951 and served in the Korean War.
Was an Airline Pilot with United Airlines from 1951 - 1981. Captain on all United Piston Aircraft and Captain on the Boeing 727, Douglas DC-8, and the Boeing 747.
President of the Board of Directors - 384th Bomb Group Association.
