Honored by:
Capt. Becker flew for United Airlines for 35 years before retiring on August 3, 1989. He was based at New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and flew the following aircraft: Convair 340, Douglas DC-6, DC-7, DC-8, DC-10, Boeing 727, 737, 747 and 767. The final years of flight were in the B-747-100 and B-747SP across the Pacific Ocean from San Francisco to the Orient.
