Captain Oliver E. Thomas has been active in the aviation industry for over thirty five years. The thrill of air travel prompted him to leave his home of Antigua, in the West Indies, in 1970 to study for his pilot license in Montreal, Canada. In his pursuit, he had to overcome language barriers and custom differences. Captain Thomas returned to his homeland after successfully completing a commercial license certification. As an African America, it is a tremendous accomplishment for Captain Thomas. Today he is still living his dream of commanding a commercial jet liner.
