Became interested in aviation at an early age from father’s employment at Republic Aviation Corp. Graduated from the USAF Academy in 1968. After pilot training flew the KC135A, C7B, U4B, T39A, C130B, and the C20B during a twenty year Air Force career. Next flew for United Airlines as a first officer on the Airbus 320 and Boeing B777, then as a captain on the A320. After fifteen years with the UAL, began flying a CE-750, Citation X for NetJets Aviation, Inc.
