    (1935-2000) b. Caldwell, Idaho. Graduated U. of Idaho, 1956. ROTC, commissioned USAF 2/Lt. Began military career. Primary flight training, Bainbridge AFB, student of Project Palm, first experimental Cessna T-37 jet class to graduate, March, 1958. Received wings at Laredo AFB, Sept, 1958.
    USAF flying included: T-37, T-33, F-86, T-28. Resigned commission (Capt.) to begin commercial flying career with United Airlines, Oct. 18, 1965. Retired, UAL Capt., Dec. 1, 1996, after 31 years of service, which included flying: DC-6, Boeing-727, Boeing-737, DC-8, DC-10.
