    Born in 1925 in Queens, NY. Enlisted in the V-5 Naval Aviation Cadet program in 1943. Designated Naval Aviator in 1946. Served in US Navy until 1951.

    Joined Eastern Airlines in 1953. Flew DC-3s through the Lockheed 1011 TriStar.

    Retired in 1984. Continues flying in general aviation. Most recent achievement: flight around the world in his Piper Twin Comanche 25 May to 6 July 2002.
