    U.S.A.A.F., C.B.I Theater, 1943-1946. Helicopter rating 1946, Miller Flying Service, Silvis, IL flight instructor, crop-duster 1946-1953, United Airlines 1952-1984, Air Transport Assoc. as “O’Hare Snowmen”. They provide critical information as to aircraft handling in advance snow conditions, 1984-1997. Special event – Sept. 30, 1945. En route to China, Ross and 18 other crewmen of the U.S.A.A.F. were the first passengers to board the Army Air Transport Command’s “Globster” on its maiden flight around the world. He boarded at Casablanca. The flight made first page news in all the newspapers. Ross and wife Lois Miller Benedict have eight daughters.
