My father was an aviator in the U.S. Navy for 26 years. He loved his job, his country, his P-3, and his crew. But, most of all, he loved his family. He flew over 6,000 hours in 2 different types of planes. He flew helicopters and even a helium blimp. He has been decorated for many achievements in war and in peace. His most rewarding experience was as Commanding Officer of NAS Brunswick, Maine.
He is a proud honoree of the Wall of Honor and an example of how all Americans and fathers should be. We are proud children of our dad!
