Learned to fly in 1971, while a high school student. Served as a Flight Instructor from 1973 – 1976. Pilot for Braniff International Airlines from 1976-1982, flying b-727 and b747. Pilot for America West Airlines from 1983-1992, flying B737 and B757 as a Captain and Check Pilot/ Instructor. Pilot for Southwest airlines from 1992 to present, flying B-737, as a Captain and Check Pilot/ Instructor. Participated in competition aerobatic flying from 1991 to 1992, winning the Arizona State Aerobatic Championship (Sportsman) flying a Pitts S-1.
