    Captain Jean Pierre Reny began his career with the RCAF in 1958 gaining his pilots wings on the T-33 at CFB Gimli. His first posting was at the Nav School at CFB Winnipeg flying the B-25 and DC-3. In 1963 he was then posted to CFB Ottawa to fly VIP DC-3's with 412 SQN.
    In 1964 he began his civilian flying career with Matan Air as Captain on their DC-3 and Lockeed 10 until the airline was bought by Quebecair in 1965. A 23 year career at Quebecair then ensued where he was Captain on the DC-3, F-27, F-28, and B707. He also held the position of Check Captain on both the B737 and BAC-111.
    In 1987 Captain Reny moved on to Minerve Canada as Chief Pilot/Director Flight Ops on the DC-8-61 until their closure in 1989.
    Minerve France in Paris became his home for the next 5 years where he flew as Captain on the DC-8-73 and DC-8-72(freighter) on global operations.
    His return to Canada lead him to finish his career flying a private F-27 for 13 months until his retirement. Capt JP Reny accumulated 17000 hours over the course of his flying career.
    His son, Captain DS Reny, is also on the Wall of Honor.
