Captain Scott dedicated 34 years of service in support of U.S. Naval Aviation. His early career was as a Jet Engine Mechanic and Naval Aircrewman on the H-46 Sea Knight Helicopter. After receiving his Commission within the Aerospace Engineering (Maintence) Officer community, he first provided logistic support for the Fleet Introduction of the SH-60B Seahawk Helicopter. Subsequent tours of duty included direct support of the F-14A Tomcat Fighter Aircraft and the E-2C Grumman Early Airborne Warning Aircraft. Captain Scott was the recipient of many awards for service, including three Meritorious Service Medals and the Legion of Merit.
