He was Lt. in the Air Corp during WWII and served as Bombardier in the 398th . His plane was a B-17 named the “Captains Glory’. He was hit by flack on his first mission over Frankfurt, but was not injured and continued to complete 17 missions and is extremely proud of his service and deserves this recognition.
