Robert D. Sholl had a distinguished 35-year career in aviation serving in the Air Force, Department of Defense and the Federal Aviation Administration. In addition to his long professional career, he has also been a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Texas Wing, for more than 32 years, being promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He has served as Squadron and Group Chaplain and held numerous group staff positions as well. In retirement, Robert has still been very active in promoting the commercial aviation industry in Grayson County, Texas by working at the county airport.
