Served as a civilian aerospace engineering employee of the U. S. Air Force
in their Flight Dynamics Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base,
Ohio (from 1961 through 1993 ). Accomplished research and exploratory development
investigations to advance technologies associated with subsystems of high speed
aerospace vehicles. Specific applications included deployable aerodynamic
decelerators (supersonic parachutes and ballutes), aircrew escape systems (ejection
seats and capsules) and transparency systems (windshields, canopies, and windows) for
existing supersonic aircraft and future hypersonic aerospace vehicles._______________
