    Significant contributions to the field while working at United Aircraft (UAC), Pratt & Whitney, Hamilton Standard:

    - Studies for an American supersonic civil transport, 1946 (see UAC archives).
    - Studies on the use of oxygen and hydrogen as high-energy propellants for upper stages of rocket vehicles (see National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) publication SP-4404, 1978).

    Airplane pilot, instrument rated lifetime; later glider endorsed and rated. Also served in various capacities with the government, and taught at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).
