Charles D. Thompson wrote the 1st pocket through shooter manual for B29 mechanics in WWII. He also, recently, consulted with Quantas (Warran Goodhew, Syndey N.S.W, Australia) while a super connie was being restored for Quantas’ Air Museum. He also worked on a plane called “Rare Bear” that won Reno Air Races in the 1980’s.
