    Wall of Honor Level:
    Air and Space Friend

    Honored by:

Claude has had a lifetime interest in aviation. He bought books and magazines as a young boy; he still has a 1940 copy of AERO DIGEST. During summer vacations in Atlantic City, saw a sign at Bader Field: "FLY WITH ROBIN - SIGHTSEEING $1.50." He saved one year to earn enough for his first plane ride and still has photos of his ride. In the sixth grade his principal gave Claude $1.00 to give a talk on aviation at a school assembly.

He obtained his private pilot's License in 1955 at Pitman Airport, NJ. He owned several planes, including Taylorcraft, Ercoupe, Piper, Navion, and several Cessnas. He obtained his commercial license in 1965, and flight instructor license in 1967.

He flew World War I planes in the ESCADRILLE '76 air shows. He's currently flying Cessnas for aerial photography and fun at Cross Key Airport, N.J.
