Norman Johnson hung around the local airport as a kid and marveled at the mighty DC-3. He fulfilled the first step toward his dream by earning his private pilot’s license as a teenager. Continuing to pursue his destiny, he graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Aerospace Physics. He joined the U. S. Air Force and was a top graduate from Undergraduate Pilot Training. Next he earned a Master’s Degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After six years of operational flying, he was accepted to, and graduated from the U.S. Air Force Test Pilot School. Since then he has flown 65different aircraft including hot air balloons, The Goodyear Blimp, hang gliders, gliders, general aviation and business aircraft, jet fighters, bombers, and heavy transports. He has Command Pilot rating and continues to fly his private aircraft for pleasure. He also holds and Airline Transport Pilot certificate with single engine, multi-engine, and glider pilot ratings. To Norman Johnson, the exhilaration of flight is a faithful reminder that God truly loves us.
