This honorarium was purchased to recognize Colin Bancroft's 2016 graduation from the University of Connecticut. Colin earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Aerospace Engineering.
For much of his childhood Colin was intrigued by aircraft and spacecraft. He greatly enjoyed visiting the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum facilities. We hope that this gift will help the museum offer future students similar inspiration.
For Colin and all the other young men and women who will take us from the skies to the stars we say, "Godspeed!"
