    CW4 Lanny L. Morrison served his country for 42 years as a pilot, instructor,
    supervisor, mentor and friend. He knew when he was as young as six years
    old that he wanted to be a pilot. He enlisted in the Army during the Viet Nam War. Throughout his career Mr. Morrison flew 14 different models of military aircraft in 10 different countries. He flew 10 different models of corporate aircraft including helicopters, turboprops and jets. During his career, he logged over 14,000 hours of flight time. He was involved in the training of hundreds of military aviators and crew members. Mr. Morrison has a number medals and citations. He did missions for Homeland Security and combat tours in the Middle East.
    He performed his duties both here and abroad with honor, dignity and integrity. Mr. Morrison retired as a CW4(P).
