Cynthia Olsen’s career in aerospace and aeronautics began in 1978 and lasted until her retirement in 2014. Her experience includes: F-15 Eagle Integrated Avionics Systems Specialist (avionic instruments, auto pilot, and flight control systems); Air Force Simulator Specialist for the AC-130H, AC-130U, CV-22, A-10A and the Visual Threat Recognition and Avoidance Trainer (VTRAT) and, primarily, as an Aerospace Technician for the Titan and Atlas rocket programs, to include launch operations. Assigned locations were; Luke AFB (AZ), Myrtle Beach AFB (SC), Hurlburt Field (FL) and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (FL).
