Dan Travsky has had a near lifelong involvement with things aviation, having enlisted in the Army Air Force in late World War II (WWII), starting as a gunner on B-29s. He was stationed around the world, from Korea to Europe and parts in between. He worked in a variety of fields from fallout testing to forward air control.
He retired in the late 1960s after 24 years of service and has kept up his interest in aviation since then.
