1957-1961 -- Served as USAF hydraulic pressurization specialist on KC-97s, Strategic Air Command (SAC) mobility team. Mechanic on B-47s.
1962 - Flight school, Colorado. Received private, commercial, instrument, multi-engine, instructor, and instrument instructor licenses and ratings.
1972-1975 - Flew for Jackpot Casino, Las Vegas, NV.
1976-1989 - Alaska bush pilot. Owned and operated Alaska Coastal Airlines, Juneau, Alaska. Flew to remote villages and camps.
1986 - Received helicopter license, commercial and instruments.
1988 - Appeared in US savings bond commercial as a bush pilot.
1989 - Went to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Seattle. Received airline transport license with Citation rating, 1A jet rating, helicopter instructor, and helicopter instrument instructor ratings.
2002 - Retired from the FAA.
