In 1947, at the age of 17, Dave obtained his pilots license and has been envolved in aviation ever since. He received his degree in Aerodynamic Engineering from the University of Michigan, and over the next 40 years , worked at McDonnell-Douglas, Umbaugh, NOrth American rockwell, and Beech Aircraft. His proudest accomplishment was probably as Chief Engineer on the Beech 1900 airliner. His love of Flight has certainly been passed along to his son and grandson.
