    Dean Pogreba was born in Three Forks, MT in 1922. He graduated from flying school in 1944 and was sent to the China/Burma/India area flying "the hump."

    Dean flew the Sabre Jets in the Korean war. From then on he was doing what he loved -- flying fighter jets. During the Vietnam conflict he was shot down near Hanoi and listed as missing in action. Years later he was declared killed in action.
