Was hired by United Air Lines )UAL) Aug 2, 1942. Soon after was drafted. Was in the Air Force and flew B-24s in the South Pacific.
On discharge from the Air Force he went back to United Air Lines. Flew many types of passenger airplanes. Retired after 41 years with UAL. Past President of the Retired United Pilots Association.
