Sergio Preidikman was born on August 2nd, 1962 in Coronel Moldes, Argentina. He received a B.S. degree in both Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering in 1988 from the National University of Cordoba.
Upon graduation, he worked as a researcher at the National Council of Technical and Scientific Investigations of Argentina. He earned a M.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico in 1992.
After graduation, he worked as a teacher in the same university. In the fall of 1998, he earned his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Tech, defending the dissertation: “Numerical Simulaticas of Interactions among Aerodynamics, Structural Dynamics, and Control Systems.” He is currently a Professor in the Department of mechanical Engineering, UNRC.
