    Received Doctorate in Aero Engineering from Catholic University.
    Began his career with N.A.C.A in Langley, Va, in 19-Foot Wind Tunnel. Served in Bureau of Aeronautics/Weapons from 1955 until 1960, and as Director of space Systems at ITT in Nutley, N.J. As a space scientist, he helped organize NASA's Gemini Space Program as well as the Apollo Moon Program, before taking over as Program Director of the SKYLAB Program. After serving in various administration positions in the manned space flight area, he retired to become a Vice President with Computer Sciences Corporation in Manned Space areas. He then became an Aerospace Consultant for CSC and CSAT, until his retirement in 1995.
    Dr. Schneider's honors include NASA's Distinguished and Exceptional Service Medals, the Robert Collier Trophy and the Outstanding Leadership Award. He was a member of NASA's Alumni Assoc, the AIAA and the IAS.
