    Dr. William L. Lanzer – entered the Air Force after graduating from UCLA in 1968. Spent 4 ½ years in active duty, leaving with rank of Captain. Entered Medical School in 1974.
    Qualified for private pilot license in 1977. Received IFR in 1980.
    Rejoined Air Force Reserves in 1984-1991. Left w/ rank of Lt. Col. after Desert Storm active duty.
    Has been a donor of Air & Space and avid aviation enthusiast. Continues to keep current flying credentials while having a career as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Seattle specializing in total joint replacement. Father of four – one girl, three boys, married to Mary Jo Lanzer.
