Edward James Agin 13 May 1914 Maineville Ohio-16 Feb 1952 Washington DC

Edward was raised in Milford, Ohio by Mack and Francis Agin. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in August 1942 and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the USAF serving in the Pentagon at the time of his death in 1952. While serving in the China-Burma theater in WW2, he received the Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service and two personal commendations. In Burma, he performed exceptionally under duress as temporary Group Commander after the death of his Group Commander and five other Group Officers in an airplane crash. When the Shanghai Air Depot was later established in 1945 with skeleton personnel, he served as the Commanding officer of the Second Chinese Air Force Service Group Liaison Team with high professional aptitude.
