    Verne Crisp

Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1931, Mr. Shaw is a lifelong aviation enthusiast. Like boys of his generation, he read aviation publications and memorized World War II airplane spotter cards. As a U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Specialist, he organized the U.S. National Pavilion at the 1983 Paris Air Show, which featured products of 145 American aerospace companies. The highlights of the show were the NASA Exhibition and the Space Shuttle Enterprise's arrival atop a Boeing 747 mothership. Mr. Shaw is a member of the Experimental Aviation Association and a distant relative of Orville and Wilbur Wright.
