Frank has a love of science, physics and flight. This honorarium is to commemorate Frank's unique contribution to GS1 and to the Automatic Identification and Data Capture Industry as a whole.

Frank's experience, personal knowledge and contributions to the AIDC industry are difficult to match. He has been with GS1 for 15 years and has over 40 years in academia as well as with solution providers all to further the growth of AIDC through growing important applications and new technological developments.

Frank’s contributions have been recognized by industry as well as by AIM (Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility – the leading international industry association and authority for automatic identification & data capture (AIDC) innovation and technologies):

• Received the Richard R. Dilling Award is the highest award given within the AIDC industry, awarded to those recognized for outstanding contributions that have furthered the growth of AIDC through important applications and new technological developments.
