    Contributed to the successful development of the OWDA (Operational Water Dispenser Assembly), which flew for the first time on STS-5 (November 11, 1982). Was Project Manager for the development, manufacture, and qualification testing of SPACELAB 2 Laminar Flometer Gas Control Systems. The Systems were used to control the flowrate of the gas mixtures used to record the trajectory and the energy of High Energy Cosmic Rays (above 40 GeV) in the SPACELAB 2 University of Chicago Enrico Fermi Institute Experiment on STS-51F. (July 29, 1985).
