    Gerald Ouellette

Active participation in various aerospace programs from 1956 to present. From 1956 to 1982 he held senior engineering and project management positions at Raytheon Corp. on radar system analysis for search and track radars for Aim 7 air to air and Hawk ground to air missile systems. He also developed technology for ballistic missile trajectory analysis and was contracted by the Mitre Corporation in 1962 to provide proof that soviet missiles could evade early warning and based on his results an additional radar was then located at Fylindales in Scotland. He participated in the analysis of earth gravity studies using Navy FPS/16 radars and ballistic cameras located around the world to determine the precise orbit of the Anna 1b satellite. Although he has worked on several scientific projects, including the geophysical research satellite ANNA 1b, the orbiting astronomical observatory (OAO),the Hubble space telescope, and the Apollo program, his primary effort has been in tactical and strategic offense and defense systems and in foreign technology analysis. Under NASA’s Earth Physics program, he developed techniques for the super survey to increase the accuracy of the U.S. and the Australian survey grids. In the 1970's he was responsible for all new acquisition, tracking, and pointing control effort at M.I.T.’s C.S. Draper Lab for space and ground based effort related to tactical, strategic, and space defense. He was technical manager for Draper’s contracts on a Navy laser radar system, and for improving the accuracy of the M.I.T. Lincoln Laboratory’s Firepond radar for tracking satellites and also their laser satellite tracking system. In 1982 he started GAO Associates, as a type B DoD consultant. As GAO Associates he has been engaged in analysis of Soviet space capability for ASAT operations under the purview of FTD-WPAFB, and also had various defense sub-contracts under prime contractors; Kollmorgen, Boeing, Kaman, General Dynamics, Bolt Beranek Newman, and Booze Allen Hamilton
