Harold Schrader (1904-1997) was born in Minnesota and as a young man moved to South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he worked at Bueyrus-Erie company. He was one of the early barnstormers in the '20s and '30s, flying his Canuck biplane out of the Hales Corners Airport. He gave flight instruction, performed stunts, including wing walking, and traveled throughout Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
