Served in World War II from 1944 thru 1946. Worked in the Engineering Department o Republic Aircraft making the P-47B thunderbolt aircraft in Farmingdale , Long Island, NY from Dec. 41939 till 1944 when I entered the U. S ., Armed Forces and returned to Republic Aircraft after my discharge from the service. Later I left Republic to work in American Airlines for four years.
