    Herbert Torberg

?»?Herb Torberg worked at Grand Central Airport in 1939-40 and then moved over to Bendix Company at Burbank. In addition, Herb worked at Sikorsky in Connecticut on the fuel system of the VS-44A. He went on to work on the restoration of this aircraft at the New England Aviation Museum. Probably his greatest love of aviation was his ownership of a 1946 Taylorcraft BC-12D, registration N44003. He owned this aircraft from the mid 1950?€™s to the mid 1990?€™s. He flew the aircraft almost weekly, from grass, snow and tarmac.

He is active in the New England Aviation Museum.
