Married to Anna Sue Young (Sue), Dec. 31, 1960. Two Children-Barry (1965) of O'Fallon, MO - Mechanic and AP Mechanic; Christopher (1967}^f Colorado Springs, CO - USAFA Graduate USAF; Pilot for United Airlines; Five Grandchildren. Employed by Boeing- 1956-58 and 1960-62; McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) -1962-1993 (Retired). Started what became Skylink Aviation, Inc. in 1968. Purchased St. Louis Engine 85 Cylinder Company, Inc. in 1995. Obtained ratings on GI Bill in 1968. Has Single Engine; Multi-Engine; Instrument; Commercial; CFI for all ratings. Has accumulated more than 20,000 hrs. flight tirrie, of which more than 12,000 hrs. is as flight instructor. Skylink Aviation is known worldwide as one of the top training schools for Instrument, Commercial, CFI and CFII ratings. St. Louis Engine 85 Cylinder is known worldwide for engine overhauls and cylinder work. In addition to his love of aviation, enjoys gardening, fishing, traveling and boating with wife, Sue and grandchildren on Bull Shoals, Norfork and Greers Ferry Lakes.
