Irwin Stouroff completed 35 B-24 heavy bomber missions against the Axis Powers in World War II (WWII). He survived captivity as a prisoner of war of the Luftwaffe. Decorated with the Distinguished Flying Cross, Purple Heart, and Air Medal.
