A lifetime member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers, Ivar Skovseth was involved in the development of machine tool tracing attachments which were used in the production of parts for the aerospace industry. A lifelong fascination with flying and space exploration coupled with his technical knowledge has provided him with many exciting and enjoyable experiences both in the air and on the ground. Emigrating from Norway in 1954, he settled and still resides in Downey, California with his wife Helen, close to their children and grandchildren.
