    Jack Stettner flew 44 combat missions during World War II as a B-24 pilot with the 14th Air Force in China. He conducted a variety of long range and low altitude missions and his distinguished record includes the sinking of seven ships. Upon his return to the U.S., he continued his military service by touring the US promoting war bonds. His service earned him numerous awards including a special Presidential Citation. After the war, he established Veterans Airline and flew UN relief cargo into Europe. He subsequently went on to have a successful international business career. He was married to the late Dorothy Warm.
