    As an engineer/manager for NASA, Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL, 1961-1984, served in positions of significance on the Saturn I, Saturn V, Apollo, Skylab, and Space Shuttle Programs. Co-founder of the concept for stimulating weightlessness of space by working below the surface of water, known as “Neutral Bouyancy Simulation” (NBS). Responsible for the NBS training of astronauts for operations to 1) salvage the Skylab program, the first U.S. Space station, by on-orbit repairs, and 2) perform technical and medical experiments on-orbit for up to 3-month periods of time. Also, responsible for significant contributions to the development of the Space Shuttle Main Engine (SSME), the first reusable rocket engine for manned space flight. With Rockwell international and the Boeing company, 1989-present, served in Business Development capacity for evolving space technologies into air and missile defense applications for the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense.
