    Worked 32 years for National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). First part of career in research on alkali metal boiler heat transfer, flow processes, and stability. Developed flashing venturi inlet and cyclone boiler concepts.

    From early 1970s to mid-1980s worked on jet noise and its suppression and became Section Head. Authored the initial jet noise prediction model for NASA's Aircraft Noise Prediction Program. From the 1980s through retirement in 1994 led research and technology groups in space propulsion electric, chemical, and nuclear, and space technology experiments.

    At Analex Corp led group integrating systems for Combustion Module 1 and was responsible for Droplet Combustion Experiment, both of which flew successfully on the Space Shuttle.

    Since 1995 at MTCT developed noise prediction/design codes for NASA and industry.
