    LtCol Spaulding is the Commander of the 715th Air Mobility Squadron, Travis AFB. He previously served as the Director of Operations and the Assistant Director of Operations in the 715th.

    During Operation Iraqi Freedom, he deployed on a Global Mobility Assessment Team, conducting assessments near An Nejaf, Iraq, for the first C-130 dirt strip built in a combat zone since Vietnam and at Balad SE, Iraq.

    During Operation Enduring Freedom, he led the first Tanker Airlift Control Element deployment to Karshi Khanabad, Uzbekistan, and he deployed to Kandahar, Afghanistan for two legendary deployments of C-5s. He served as staff officer and executive officer in the J-5 directorate at USEUCOM. He also served as a C-141B evaluator navigator and planner at numerous bases, including the schoolhouse at Altus AFB, OK.

    Lt Col Spaulding has spent his Air Force career enjoying flying and air mobility operations around the world.
