John “Fox” Batastini was a USAF Captain flying out of Danang AB in Vietnam. Was awarded his first DFC in August 7, 1971 and subsequently won three more DFCs. He was awarded eleven Air Medals, the tenth with Oak Leaf Cluster, and the Combat Readiness Medal.
He served with the 434th Tactical Fighter Sqdn at George AFB, the 421st TFS at Danang AFB, the 35th TFS at Yokota, Japan, and the 80th TFS at Yokota, Japan.
