    John H. Teaford, d.o.b 6 May 1947, entered the Army on 8 June 1966 and completed helicopter flight training on 6 June1967 with flight class number 67-7. Mr. Teaford entered the Theater Republic of Vietnam on 3 October 1967. He served in Vietnam with 57th Assault Helicopter Company in 1967 and the 155th Assault Helicopter Company in 67-68. While in the Army, Mr. Teaford obtained the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW2) and he was awarded: The Purple Heart “for wounds received in connection with military operations against hostile forces (Tet Offensive 30 January 1968)” and The Air Medal for “meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight during the period 26 October 1967 to 3 November 1967 with over 25 aerial missions.
    Post-military service, Mr. Teaford married Betsy A.Teaford and had three children: Jennifer, John Brian and Sean. He earned his BS and MBA from Saint Joseph’s University (Philadelphia, Pa) and had a successful business career in the Philadelphia Area.
