    03/8/1969 Second start at training with the US Navy Flying Club in Key West Florida flying a Cessna 150 again interrupted by reassignment to Keesler AFB, MS
    05/14/1970 Third try is the charm?€¦started instructional flights with the Keesler AFB USAF Flying Club flying a Cessna 150.
    06/12/1970 First solo in a Cessna 150 N60719 at Keesler AFB, MS
    09/28/1970 Private Pilot Check Ride in a Cessna 150 at Pascagoula MS.
    03/3/1972 Commenced Commercial Pilot training at King Salmon Airport Alaska with Western Alaska Flyers. Flew 69 hours in Alaska.
    01/21/1973 Continued Commercial Flight training with Precision Air at the old Glendale Airport Arizona.

    08/07/1982 Endorsed my oldest son for his first solo flight in a Cessna 150.
    01/28/1983 Endorsed my oldest son for his private pilot check ride on his 17th birthday.
    07/01/1984 Moved to Pine Arizona and transferred my Civil Air Patrol membership to the Payson Squadron. Taught numerous SAR classes and performed many CAP flight evaluations for the next 10 years.
    03/18/1995 Started flying numerous counterdrug missions along the AZ Mexico Border for US Customs. Missions are ongoing.
    06/04/2001 Started Airline Transport Pilot flight training with ATP..
    06/07/2001 Passed ATP Check Ride.
    09/07/2001 Started flying target missions for the 162nd Fighter Wing AZANG in C-182s. Missions are currently ongoing.

    05/17/2003 Appointed Volunteer Aviation Safety Counselor by Michael Halloran of the Scottsdale FAA Flight Standards District Office.
    11/11/2005 Attended the Cessna Factory Industry Training Standard G-1000 Instructor Training Course in the Cessna 182T NAV III. Independence KS.
    11/2005-Pres Gave G-1000 C182T transition training to numerous CAP Pilots.
    11/10/2010 Attended Cessna T182T Turbo Transition Course, Independence KS
    11/2010-Pres Gave T182T transition training to numerous CAP pilots.
    04/20/2008 Appointed Vice Commander of Civil Air Patrols Southwest Region (AZ, NM, TX, OK AR and LA).
    05/22/2010 Appointed Volunteer FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) Representative by Michael Halloran of the Scottsdale FSDO.
    07/2009-11 Appointed National Coordinator USAF Air Combat Command/Civil Air Patrol Surrogate Remote Piloted Aircraft (MQ-1/MQ-9) flight support to the Air Force Green Flag Combat Training exercise program.
    10/23/2015 Received the Air Force Commanders Public Service Award for support of the Air Force Green Flag Combat Training program.
    06/12/2020 Celebrated 50 years of flying. Awarded FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award.

    Total Flight Time: 3600+ hours in over 40 different make and models of fixed wing aircraft plus 2 hours of instruction received in Rotorcraft.
