Born April 17,1918. Fell in love with aviation as a young man in rural Kansas. Captain, United States Army Air Corp, 8th Air Force, 392nd Bomber Group stationed at Wendling Air Base in England, flying B-24s. Awarded the Air Medal with six Oak Leaf Clusters and was a member of The Caterpillar Club. Died March 30,1990.
