    Born Dec. 3. 1941. Tripler General Army Hospital. Honolulu. Hawaii. A lifelong Aviation Enthusiast. Started building models at the age of 8 years, while participating in dependent's recreational programs while father was stationed in Germany. The first models built were balsa wood solid & flying models.

    Continued building models ever since. In the early years most models built were rubber powered & U-Control flying Models. This interest in Aviation led to enlistment in the U.S. Air Force, at 17 years old, after graduation from High School. In the Air Force from 1959 - 1962, He was stationed at Loring AFB. Maine, as a Fire Control Tech on B-52G Strato-fortresses. During service time, continued model building, transitioning to mostly display type models.

    After discharge from the Air Force, returned home to Tampa, Fl to attend the University of South Florida. During the years in college & many jobs thereafter, he continued model building. After finding a job in Pensacola, Fl He became even more active in his Aviation Interests. Finally getting to take flying lessons, he soloed in a Grumman T-Cat but developing medical problems kept him from getting his license. However contacts with other flyers, allowed him to obtain over 100 flying hrs. in various aircraft.

    Nominated & selected Founding Member # 198. in The Golden Eagle Society. Plank Owner of Volunteer program @. National Museum of Naval Aviation, as Head of Volunteer Modeling Division, which put on Blue Angel Modelfest for many Years. Model/Display Builder for USN for 20 years.

    Currently & for many years now has been a teacher of Model Building classes, in the community, for young people. Nationally recognized Professional Model builder. 1 of founding members of youth project @NMNA to built 1/2 scale replica of 1902 Wright glider, for 100th Ann celebration.
