Learned to fly in 1927 with the U. S. Navy. Barnstormed from PA. to California in 1930. Flew All American Airlines mail pickup in Allegheny Mountains in a Stinson Reliant. Flew for TWA 1942-45 out of flushing, NY in a DC-3. First U.S.A. air drop of ransom money Triple X Case Bloomsburg, PA (Harry Maltee) owned Abiuso Aviation. Harrisburg, PA taught Gov. Pinchot son to fly. Oldest active pilot of Pennsylvania in Late 90s. Had lunch with Amelia Earhart in Sunbury, PA.
